DEVELOPMENT TEAM – AGES 6-13yrs (U8-U14)
The Development Team program is our entry level program for ages 6-13 (U8-U14) which starts with a 4 day camp over the Christmas holiday period, then skis or rides every Saturday starting the first weekend in January through mid March. This program is designed for children who have already learned how to ski or snowboard, but need further instruction on the basic skill development and techniques that will enable them to go anywhere on the mountain.
Skiers and snowboarders will build a base of solid skills and basic fundamentals through directed free skiing and riding, some basic GS gate training, and friendly competition. This program emphasizes improving free-skiing and free-riding, basic race fundamentals, skiing and riding etiquette, safety and fun!
The Development Team will participate in local ski area races if desired.
